Karthik completed his MBBS from JJM Medical College in Davanagere. Now, he's
gearing up for the PG entrance exam scheduled for 11th August 2024, to pursue
higher education.
During
his time at Vidyanjali, Karthik received career guidance that suggested several
paths: Civil Services, Administration-related
professions, Law, and Computer Studies. However, as he progressed through his
Pre-University Course (PUC), his passion for Physics and Biology blossomed,
even though he initially focused on Physics and Chemistry.
With
valuable advice from his elder sister, a pediatrician, and unwavering
encouragement from his parents, Karthik chose to pursue MBBS. His interests
have evolved, and he is keen on initially studying General Surgery, with
aspirations to specialize in Cardio Thoracic Surgery (CTS).
Karthik
dreams of establishing a hospital in his hometown, Bagepalli, to cater to the
emergency medical needs of the local population. He has witnessed the struggles
of his community, where people often have to travel to Chikkaballapur or
Bengaluru for better medical facilities. Additionally, Karthik is interested in
studying Hospital Administration to better manage and serve his future
hospital.
Karthik
humbly acknowledges that his journey is just beginning and that he has a long
way to go. However, he promises to return one day to share his real journey to
success after achieving all his educational goals.
